Musselman Arch

The classic bridge in southwestern Utah will crumble into the Colorado River valley one day

The picture just doesn't do it justice.

Walking the arch simply takes your breath away.

I found myself wondering, "On which day in geologic time will the rock obey the laws of gravity and fall to the valley floor?"

It's not really an arch at all, but technically a bridge. Originally known as "Little Bridge", this stunning geologic feature just off the White Rim Trail in the Island In The Sky area of Canyonlands National Park was improperly renamed after a local known to have explored the general vicinity around the the bridge.
